Rovena Talks About Her Progress
I’m going to share a little movie that shows one of my students and I talking over Skype. She is located in Western Canada and I am in New Hampshire, so this is a little bit of a miracle.
When Rovena started she had a hard time singing more than one or two notes at a time on pitch, and she was confused about the whole idea of how to sing higher and lower, and how to find the note she wanted. She’s been practicing, and uses the piano a lot for reference as a way of helping her visualize the relationships between the notes she’s singing.
Here she’s talking a little bit about where she’s at, and her excitement and joy are a lot of fun to watch!
